Tuesday 9th May

Travelling on, from Rainton to Alnwick, still a very cold wind. Thirsk was our first stop, nice little shops and an independent cinema. The journey under the Tyne tunnel was uneventful, but the roadworks proved testing. But we made it along the coast and had a nice stop in Amble

A very cold day, earned by phone calls from Emily and Lucy. We did some to therapy on the way from Birmingham to Rainton, near Thirsk. Not really our thing, but managed a couple of purchases, including Marmite peanuts! I like both, by will I like them together! Sorry Lucy
