A Lady in a Van

Lynton hill

Went for a walk, only a couple of hours but up hill and down again through sunshine and hail. We started from the campsite and climbed 468ft up the hill behind us and then back down again. At least we will have done more than 8000 steps today! Just one

Lynton

I have no signal here so post will be limited for the next few days. But we have a great pitch. We had a walk into Lynton, took the fanicular to Lynmouth and back then walked to the valley of rocks.

Exmoor

We drive through Exmoor National Park to Lynton via some very steep winding roads. But now parked next to a river and a pub what a lovely day and thank you lots to Emily for a lovely Mothers Day card.

Exeter City

The bus into the city stops outside the pub, and the second one of the day leaves at a nice 10.40! Taking advice from the locals we visited the cathedral and quays. Such friendly people here. A couple went out of there way to show us the route to

Exeter

Well we haven't explored the town yet. But are staying in the car park of a lovely pub in Nadderwater, north of Exeter. Lovely meal and cider. Stopped in Bridport and bought some lovely bits from charity shops.
